“Dan from Odds & Ends was nothing short of outstanding with the work that he did in my house. His work was impeccable — he is a perfect perfectionist and it shows. Dan was very responsive in coming out and giving me a quote in a timely fashion, then following up just a few days later to get the work done quickly, expertly and neatly! I will absolutely bring him back for many other projects. His prices are reasonable and, most importantly, Dan takes great care in making sure the outcome of his work is EXACTLY what his client has asked for. It has literally taken me years to find the right person with the skill AND follow through — who I can trust, to do the vast range of handyman/home improvement projects that I need done. Dan is the one!!”

“Having relocated to Tuxedo NY, I was looking for a carpenter and found the reviews for Dan Kiely to be outstanding. Placed a call, and Dan answers the call, himself...Dan came to my townhouse that day and we discussed ideas for a bookcase, later he sent me pictures of different lay outs. I had an estimate and a date to start, within one week. Work to commence in five weeks amazing. The finished product is just what the large space needed. Dan and crew, who are all professional, neat and pleasant to have in your home doing work, arrived on time and picked up after themselves when work day was finished. Do not hesitate to use " Odds & Ends" they do not disappoint. Dan is extremely smart and kind, and has fair pricing.”
“Hired them to complete a bathroom work and they did an amazing job! Very professional and reliable. Would definitely recommend Dan and his team.”
“It was a pleasure having Dan do some installation work at our house. He was kinda enough to pick up the door I ordered at Home Depot and then install it expertly. I especially appreciated his attention to detail that involved making special modifications to ensure everything was even more solid than a standard installation would've been. Additionally, throughout the process, Dan was easy to work with, always professional, kind, and ready to offer his expertise and knowledge. I would absolutely use him again for home projects and would likewise recommend him to others for their home-contracting needs.”
“Had a great experience with Dan from Odds and Ends. They did an excellent job refinishing our deck and replacing the roof on our shed. The team was professional, efficient and kept everything clean. Very happy with the results and would definitely recommend.”
“Dan is friendly, competent, and shows up on time. Did my whole list in good time. Easy to work with. Glad to have found him!!”
“Dan of Odds and Ends fame just completed the design and construction of a lean-to pergola over our hot tub. We have a small deck and he envisioned and then executed a cover that was light, simple and modern — complementing our deck. His work is outstanding. He is methodical, careful, neat, creative and thorough. I highly recommend Odds & Ends… I believe he would accept any challenge, large or small, to complete to your satisfaction.”
“Punctual, friendly, communicative, and talented! Dan built these beautiful shelves for my office. Will definitely be using his services again.”
“I was so impressed with Dan. He really is a jack of all trades and helped me with Odds And Ends jobs that were piling up. He recommended products that I could use and all is working out very well. He is fair and honest. Glad I found him!”
“We had a part of our kitchen cabinets (a faceplate) under our kitchen sink that had become wet and rotted in parts. Dan figured out how to remove it and replace it with a much better solution (including using marine paint over the wood piece and covering it with an aluminum face to avoid any future water problems). He was on time, incredibly personable and helpful, reasonable, and did an absolutely outstanding job! I'm sure we will be pestering him routinely for all kinds of things that need to be fixed/improved/replaced. Thanks, Dan!”
“I feel so fortunate to have found Dan, owner of Odds and Ends! His work is beyond exceptional!!! Any idea I had in the remake of my living room was made even better and brought to life through his creative mind and skilled craftsmanship! It's so hard to find true competence and professionalism these days but I'm thrilled to have found Dan! He is meticulous in his work, was so respectful of our home that he even mopped the floors before leaving! His amazing talent combined with his kindness and honesty means Dan will be our go-to for all projects in my future!! A true talent and rare find!”
“Dan did a great job! It was quick work and looks fantastic. I am so happy with the final product. Added great curb appeal. Highly recommend!”
“Dan is a dream handyman. Extremely knowledgeable about all things in your home. He came to do a consultation on various issues we were addressing. One turned out to be so simple he fixed it on the spot. As we walked around our home showing him our various concerns he went out of his way to tell us the things we could fix or maintain ourselves and how to do it. He is trustworthy, competent and very straightforward. You can't go wrong hiring Odds and Ends!”
“I recently hired Dan for a few home improvement projects; including an emergency plumbing leak and I am absolutely thrilled with the exceptional service he provided. He did a fantastic job from start to finish, demonstrating true professionalism and remarkable attention to detail. I was particularly impressed that he thoroughly cleaned and tidied the workspace at the end of each project. The quality of his workmanship is outstanding and has truly improved the condition of my home. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, likable, detail-oriented, and reliable handyman.”
“I've worked with several handymen over the years, but Dan stands out as the best! He installed a new kitchen faucet, repaired some damaged siding, and even helped me mount a TV on the wall. Each task was done with precision, and he worked efficiently. He was on time, well-prepared, and didn't leave a mess behind — something I really appreciated! The best part was his willingness to provide tips and advice on home maintenance. If you want someone reliable and skilled, this is your guy.”

He worked meticulously to ensure every project was completed to the highest standard and to my full satisfaction. His dedication and attention to detail clearly reflected his commitment to not just finishing the job, but doing it right. Dan was a pleasure to work with, and his pricing was reasonable. I'll definitely be reaching out to him again for future projects.”

“We wanted our outdoor TV mounted in time for football season, and Dan made it happen! He reached out to me within 12 hours of contacting him through his page and quickly set up a time to meet. He showed up on time, was friendly, professional, and confident in his work. The TV looks great, and I couldn't be happier with the result. I'll definitely use his services again — highly recommend Dan! No job too big or too small.”
“This handyman service came highly recommended by a good friend. They did an amazing job reconstructing our basement after an extremely damaging water heater blowout. Their quality of workmanship and attention to detail was outstanding from start to finish. They turned our vision into something even better than we imagined, and we couldn't be happier. Also did other "Odds and Ends" throughout our home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch construction work. Will DEFINITELY call again!”

“KITCHEN FACELIFT MAGIC BY THE OWNER DAN OF ODDS AND ENDS!!! I can't say enough about the incredible work Dan did on my kitchen facelift. When I saw his website I told his wife I could not afford what he was capable of because I was not in the position financially for a full renovation, but Dan made me feel like I got one anyway. From the moment he understood my vision, he brought it to life with creativity, passion and a ton of thoughtful ideas — all without pushing my budget. I honestly think I saved money! Dan is not only dependable and honest, but he clearly loves what he does. His craftsmanship and attention to detail BLEW ME AWAY! He's the kind of person you instantly trust — someone who treats your home with care and respect.”
